| Duties and Responsibilities |
- Design and develop network management software
- Develop feature design specifications
- Conduct and actively participate in development reviews (i.e. requirements, design, code & test plan).
- Integrate and test software features

| Qualifications |
- Requires BS in computer science or equivalent.
- 8 years experience in telecom or datacom
- Must have strong knowledge in JAVA (J2SE), OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis & Design), Distributed systems, UNIX, RMI, and HTTP
- Working knowledge of Ethernet and SONET/SDH a strong plus
- Embedded software development experience a plus
- TL/1, SNMP, XML, JDMK and AdventNet product experience a plus
- Highly motivated individual with ability to learn quickly and drive the design and development of new features
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral; must be able to present and sell design ideas and solutions to functional groups
- Must have strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Comfortable working in a fast paced development environment
