CommVerge Solutions Korea Provides Dacom with Multi-Service Transport Switching Solution for Leased Line Network

Seoul, South Korea, May 3, 2005
- Korea's second largest communications service provider, Dacom, will be provisioning a new nationwide network with the Turin Traverse® Multi-Service Transport Switch platform. This move expands Dacom's network, while allowing them to transition seamlessly from 2.5G to 10G backbone capacity, and to higher speed services like Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet.

Dacom commissioned CommVerge Solutions to provide the solution for their Leased Line Network based on the competitive pricing, effective project management, technical support and A/S services present in CommVerge Solutions offer, as well as the reliability and scalability of the Turin platform. CommVerge will be providing Dacom the Traverse 1600 from Turin Networks, a multiservice transport switch that unifies carrier-grade Ethernet, SDH and SONET switching capabilities in a single platform that is optimized for deployments ranging from access rings to metro and inter-office environments.
