Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF)

The Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) is a global industry alliance comprising of approximately 70 organizations including telecommunications service providers, network equipment/software manufacturers, semiconductors vendors and testing organizations. The MEF's mission is to accelerate the worldwide adoption of Carrier-class Ethernet networks and services. The MEF develops Carrier Ethernet technical specifications and implementation agreements to promote interoperability and deployment of Carrier Ethernet worldwide.
   
US Telecom

The United States Telecom Association, USTelecom, is the premier trade association representing service providers and suppliers for the telecom industry. USTelecom represents more than 1,200 companies offering a wide range of services across the communications platforms, including voice, video and data over local exchange, long distance, wireless, Internet and cable services.
   
COMPTEL

COMPTEL is the leading industry association representing communications service providers and their supplier partners. Based in Washington, D.C., COMPTEL advances its member's business through policy advocacy and through education, networking and trade shows. COMPTEL members are entrepreneurial companies building and deploying next-generation networks to provide competitive voice, data, and video services.
   
Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA)

TIA is the leading trade association for the information and communications technology (ICT) industry. As owner and producer of GLOBALCOMMT, TIA serves ICT suppliers serving global service provider and enterprise customers through its leadership in standards development, domestic and international policy advocacy, and facilitating member business opportunities. TIA represents the communications sector of the Electronic Industries Alliance (EIA).
   
National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA)

The National Telecommunications Cooperative Association is the premier association representing more than 560 locally owned and controlled telecommunications cooperatives and commercial companies throughout rural and small-town America. NTCA provides its members with legislative, regulatory and industry representation, meetings, publications and educational programs and an array of employee benefit programs.
   
United Telecom Council (UTC)

The United Telecom Council (UTC) is a global trade association dedicated to creating a favorable business, regulatory, and technological environment for companies that own, manage, or provide critical telecommunications systems in support of their core business. Founded in 1948 to advocate for the allocation of additional radio spectrum for power utilities, UTC has evolved into a dynamic organization that represents the broad communications interests of electric, gas and water utilities, natural gas pipelines, other critical infrastructure entities and other industry stakeholders.
